Land's End
In the city where the tall shapes live
In the valleys where the walls cave in
Let the walls cave in
If you really want to float past the fields and canyons
Let the walls cave in
On the edges where the falls face in
In the crannies where the small snakes swim
Let the walls cave in
If you really want to row all the way to the land’s end

Don’t ever allow it, don’t ever allow it
Awake in the waiting sea, awake

In the city where the crawl space lives
In the tunnels where the walls cave in
Let the walls cave in
If you really want to float past the fields and canyons
Let the walls cave in
In the shadows where the claws break skin
On the ridges where the guard rail thins
Let the walls cave in
If you really want to row all the way to the land’s end

Don’t ever allow it, don’t ever allow it
Awake in the waiting sea
Awake and we’re waiting
Home will push you outward
Hope will pull you upward
Awake in the waiting sea, awake

When the time is right to raise some children, we will then
Like a roaring noise, filled with all the joys this life allows
When the time has come to lie beside us, they’ll find us
Like an open flame, let our smoke remain against the clouds

AHHHH THIS IS AWESOME. I want to watch it a bunch more times so I feel like I've pulled more out of it, but it's really smart and insightful and with completely gorgeous use of movement and parallels. The bit that got me most on this first viewing was River punching Ten and then Eleven staggering to the ground. Just wonderful. Also I really appreciated how much Amy you used and the ways in which you tied their storylines together. Wonderful!

Thank you ever so much, hon! I'm so glad you liked it. The parallels were really just sitting there, waiting to be teased out. I'd forgotten just how many there were until I started clipping. I'm rather fond of that punching-staggering sequence myself, so I'm so glad you liked that as well!
