Oh, hee, no! You rock for commenting now. It's just that I think Due South has spoiled me, because now I'm used to having more than five people read something, and I was getting a little paranoid about the actual story quality.

Of course, I should probably just consider myself lucky that I have been getting more than five people, generally. :D

I don't suppose (after Connexions, however long that it) you'd be willing to take a look at it? I mean, if you don't beta, that's cool, and I'd just like to check with you to make sure she likes it. It's. Um. NOTHING at all like what she requested, because my brain works oddly and it kept morphing into something else.

I know what you mean about a work backlog, though, even though I'm exactly sure what you do.

At the research station, we had almost two weeks of work, so we got mega behind on our outdoor sampling, and we've been rushing to catch up in the +36. Yay, sunburn through clothing!
